The Ekka

Held annually in August, The Ekka is an agricultural show held at the city's showground. It is the largest event in Queensland, attracting over 500,000 visitors. Brisbane Festival

Held every year in September, it is one of Australia's leading international arts festivals attracting around one million visitors. It is a three week long festival, featuring a line up of contemporary and classical dance, comedy, opera and music.

The Caxton Street Festival

Held annually over the Labour Day weekend, the festival is a significant entertainment event that promotes and celebrates Australian seafood, wine and music. Featuring Australian celebrities and music bands, over 15,000 visitors congregate on Caxton Street to enjoy what is on offer. Historical displays and art exhibitions allow visitors to be immersed in the local culture. The festival attracts visitors from around the world, making it a vibrant and exciting event to be part of.
