It is known to be the largest religious monument in the world. Another well known temple is the Banteay Srei, which was built around the 10th century, and is dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva. The Angkor Thom is made up out of the remains of an ancient city and the temples that go with it. It makes for a beautiful hike through history.
