What service/booking fees do you charge?

In addition to the Tax and Governmental Fees referenced in the "Fare Details" section in Air Shopping Result Page, the following Cheaptickets.hk imposed fees may apply:

Online Processing Fee:

Airline ticket(s) purchased through CheapTickets.hk may be imposed with a processing fee per ticket which is non-refundable. The fee varies depending on airline, destination and other factors. The fee applies when the booking is completed on the CheapTickets.hk web site. When applicable, this fee will be included within the taxes and fees total being quoted prior to the completion of your booking.

Phone Service Fee:

When booking by phone with a CheapTickets.hk Customer Care Associate, each airline ticket purchased will carry a non-refundable per ticket service fee of HK$200 per person. When applicable, this fee will be included within the total price quoted by the Associate prior to the completion of your booking.

Itinerary Changes/ Cancellation/ Refunds:

If airlines concerned allow a change or refund based on the fare rules, will have a CheapTickets.hk service fee of HK$775 per ticket plus airline imposed penalties or fees. We will advise you the amount of any penalties or fees involved and the refund amount on cancellation of ticket. This fee varies by market, carrier and specific fare rule.

Is my credit card information safe?

CheapTickets.hk takes special effort to keep all your personal information, including your credit card numbers, secure.

• Your credit card number can only be transmitted over the Internet if your browser supports Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption.
• SSL encodes the information so that it is transmitted in a format that prevents eavesdropping or data theft.
• When received by our secure server, your credit card number is never transmitted over the Internet again.

What credit cards do you accept?

CheapTickets.hk accepts American Express, Visa, and Master Card as forms of payment for your CheapTickets.hk travel purchases.

Does CheapTickets.hk accept "virtual credit cards"?

At this time we are unable to accept Virtual Credit Cards (also known as "single purchase cards") for payment of tickets on the CheapTickets.hk website. A virtual credit card allows for only a "single purchase". However, when purchasing through CheapTickets.hk two separate credit card charges typically take place. One charge is for the CheapTickets.hk booking fee and a second charge (which goes directly to the airline) is made to cover the actual cost of the airline ticket.

Can I pay with a credit card issued by a bank outside of Hong Kong?

CheapTickets.hk accepts credit cards issued by banks from all over the world. The only restriction is that the credit card used for purchase must be valid and issued by American Express, Visa, or MasterCard. A separate fee may be charged by the issuing bank.

Can I use more than one credit card to purchase my tickets?

No. All tickets within a single reservation must be paid for using one credit card.

When am I billed for my air, and/or hotel reservation?

Your credit card will be charged, in full, for all air tickets and hotels at the time of booking.

Are all taxes and fees included in my purchase?

Yes, all taxes and fees are included and clearly displayed as a separate amount within the "Price Summary" section prior to making your purchase.

Exception: Some countries impose an airport arrival and/or airport departure tax which are collected at the airport at the time of arrival/departure and therefore cannot be collected in advance. If this tax applies it is only collected when a stop of more than 24 hours occurs.
